Percheron
Sunday more was learned about the Percheron horse breed. They originated in France and are today used as cart horses. In Medieval times they were used by Knights in battle.
The breed nearly became extinct, but the Amish people re-established the breed as work horses. The characteristics of this breed is a strong body, born brown or black. At the age of maturity, at about 7 years the breed turns white.
