STILBAAI NEWS - One of the ways in which Community Animal Rescue Society (CARS) serves the community, is in assisting with finding new permanent homes for animals which were found in undesirable circumstances and removed to foster care.
One of their success stories is shared by Stilbaai CARS coordinator Nicole Botha. Bruno belonged to a gentleman who sadly passed away in November last year.
His wife did not care for the dog and kept him alone and chained in the backyard. Fortunately for Bruno, CARS stepped in. Today Bruno's happy face as he plays at his new home says it all.
CARS is a non-profit organisation which functions in all the towns of Hessequa. They are hugely dependent on donations from the community and an article 18A tax certificate can be issued for any financial contribution.
Contact the head coordinator Sandra Williams Lotz on 082 962 1831 if you would like to get involved.
