RIVERSDALE NEWS - Although she and her husband David moved to Hermanus two years ago, you might remember Sal Carter as the lady in Riversdale who was crazy about goats.
Or perhaps she drove you to your treatment for cancer. Maybe you saw her striding around the arena at the Cansa Relay for Life wearing a purple wig?
Or you can picture her with two large wolfhounds peering over the rails of her bakkie, as she eased her way unskilfully into a parking space outside the Spar.
Sal has recently published a book on her experiences in Riversdale. You might even be in it!
It will be available at a launch at Zeekoegat at Riversdale on 8 February, or thereafter from Sam Smuts at Goukam Health. It is a fun read and has been thoroughly enjoyed by those who have already read it.
It is also available through Amazon and Takealot. All profits go to Goukam Health.
