STILBAAI NUUS - The first Hessequa Art Route Open studios took place on Saturday 29 April, with participating artists in the region welcoming visitors to their home studios.
This first-time local art initiative was well-received among art lovers and weekend visitors, with a variety of art, craft and immersive art experiences shared with visitors.
This project is a unique way to give local talent well-deserved exposure through membership on the Hessequa Art Route, adding value to tourism and stimulating the local economy by engaging visitors directly with Hessequa's artists through their artwork and craft.
