"The chemicals used in acrylic nails seeps into the nail bed and damages your nails, leaving them dry and brittle," Charlene says.
The fifference lies in the resin that is used and LCN products mimic the principle of tree resin that hardens in direct sunlight. As a result, LCN products are odourless and do not stain or discolour. Any type of nail polish can be used and because of its international affiliation, the company is up to date with current fashion trends worldwide.
But artificial nails are not all about vanity. "Many people have problem nails," Charlene says. "And often an injured or damaged nail won't re-attach itself." The chemical composition of acrylic nails doesn't allow a damaged nail to regrow. "LCN is perfect as the damaged nail is sculptured and the person's own nail is given the time to rebuild itself."
For people with soft nails, LCN offers a hardener ofter used by chemotherapy patients that dramatically improves the condition of the nail.
LCN also offers a unique product called Pedique that has it's own anti fungal properties. It can be used for toenail reconstucrion or to train the nail to not become ingrown. With the help of their product Mykosept one can treat and prevent fungal infections.
Removing artificial nails often causes extensive damage to one's own nails and for this reason LCN professionally files their nails off instead of soaking them in chemicals.
