Witsand se sonpaneel
Hessequa-munisipaliteit staan op die drumpel om ’n reuse deurbraak te maak met die installasie van die eerste sonpaneel aangedrewe ontsoutingsaanleg in Suid-Afrikate. Dr. Ivan Meyer, minister van finansies in die Wes-Kaap het dié kusdorp Maandag 9 Julie besoek vir ’n voorlegging van die projek wat volgens plan in Oktober vanjaar in werking sal kom, om op volle sterkte in November te wees, betyds vir die groot toeloop na die strande.
