Gouritz Groepbiosfeer Reservaat (Gouritz Biosphere Reserve/GCBR) het Vrydag 22 Junie hul hoofkantoor amptelik op Riversdal geopen. Willem Botha is die voorsitter, terwyl Karin Coetzee die finansies sal bestuur en Marinda van As hoof van administrasie is. Groot planne vir die Gourits-streek is reeds in plek.
