GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Fans of The Voice SA are in for a treat.
Five of this season's favourite acts will be performing in The Voice, Reunited at Garden Route Casino's Bravo Lounge on Friday 27 October.
The Voice, Reunited brings Craig Lucas, Josh Ansley, Caroline Grace, Armand Joubert and Johan 'Fatman' Brummer back together to take audiences through the show's highlights, lowlights and everything in between.
The public voted more than 1,6 million times for Lucas to take home the winner's title - not bad for someone who had never been on stage before.
The 23-year-old from Cape Town loved singing but suffered from anxiety, which prevented him from performing.
Fortunately, The Voice forced him out of his comfort zone and his talent into the spotlight.
Ansley, this year's runner-up, has been singing and performing since he was a child. Now 31, the musician and actor from Johannesburg was a regular on the Barnyard Theatre circuit before entering The Voice.
His new single, 1000 Nights, can be purchased on iTunes.
Caroline Grace's powerful voice saw her taking third place in the competition - it's hard to believe that she is self-taught.
The songstress from the Free State has recently launched her new single, Ek Bid Vir Jou, with a beautiful music video on YouTube.
Hailing from Mpumalanga, Joubert's talents were first recognised at the age of five. Over the years he has opened for artists such as Nicolas Louw and Ray Dylan, performed in places like Spain, New York and Israel and released an album.
Since stunning the judges on The Voice, he has released his single, Should I, on iTunes.
Brummer will be the host of The Voice, Reunited, adding the humour and baritone voice that South Africa fell in love with to the mix.
The 40-year-old music teacher from Limpopo was introduced to music as a child while watching his father perform on stage.
Although Brummer was the oldest amongst his fellow contestants, he wanted to show people that it's never too late to follow their dreams.
Marketing Manager Karen Johnstone says: "Garden Route Casino guests can look forward to a fun-packed evening with The Voice SA stars – reliving their favourite moments from the show and hearing brand new music from this famous five."
Tickets for the show cost R150 per person, with discounts available to Garden Route Casino Rewards cardholders, and can be purchased at Garden Route Casino's cash desk and website, as well as from Computicket.
The next event to diarise will be a live performance by Coenie de Villiers on 25 November.
