GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - This is a reminder that the first of the Carpe Musicam! Orchestra and choir Easter concert performances is taking place this evening, Friday, 5 April.
You have the chance to attend the concert in George this evening, in Mossel Bay on Sunday and in Sedgefield on Friday, 12 April.
'Amazing Grace'
Titled Amazing Grace, the concert will offer 15 carefully selected pieces of Passiontide music.
From the heart-rending orchestral, Were You There? to the slightly renaissance-styled Fantasy on Ancient Hymns to the bouncy, Celtic treatment of, Of The Father’s Love Begotten, there will be something to touch the heart of every member of the audience, says Carpe Musicam!'s music arranger and conductor, Norman Carless.
The performances take place today, 5 April, at 19:00 at Outeniqua High School, George; on Sunday, 7 April, at 15:30 in the Mossel Bay Town Hall; and on Friday, 12 April, at 19:00 in the DRC/NGK, Sedgefield.
