RIVERSDALE NEWS - Three cricket tournament games took place on Friday 5 October at the Riverville stadium.
Hessequa Municipality, in collaboration with CANSA, is hosting a six-a-side cricket tournament that started on Monday 1 October. The last games will take place on Friday 26 October.
Businesses and schools were challenged to participate in this tournament for a good cause.
Results
Woman: First game of the day was Revivals vs Strike Force (Working on Fire woman) - The Revivals won.
Men: Strike Force (Working on Fire men) vs Full Cream Panda's - Full Cream Panda's batted first and set a total of 102 to win Strike Force. They bowled out Strike Force with 33 runs left to win and advanced to the next round.
Wild Cats vs Murder City Boys (MCB) - Wild Cats won the toss and elected to bat first. MCB produced a good all-round performance and won the match.
