Update
GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Bevan van Druten (53), accused of murdering his girlfriend, Nicky van Heerden (54), is due back in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrate’s Court today, 6 February, for his fourth appearance in the matter.
The court is expected to conclude the bail hearing and deliver a ruling on the State’s application for him to undergo psychiatric evaluation at Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital in Cape Town.
Van Druten remains in custody pending the outcome of his bail application.
