Skaak op Stilbaai
Nege spanne met vier spelers elk van die Eden-streek en van die Steinitz-klub van Kaapstad het teen mekaar in die eerste ronde van die Wes-Kaap skaakklub kampioenskap meegeding. Die byeenkoms het die naweek van 17 Maart in die Preekstoel-kampterrein se saal plaasgevind. Volgens die organiseerders, Peter Steyn, Terry Quirck en Azriel Johnson is dit die eerste keer dat ’n ronde van dié klubkampioenskap op Stilbaai plaasvind.
