Lang tafel van vrede
Ongeveer 1 300 mense van Melkhoutfontein en Stilbaai het Donderdag 30 November saam aan die langste tafel in Rooipitjieweg in Melkhoutfontein gesit en ‘n ete geniet. Volgens Jenny Olivier, wat dié inisiatief drie jaar gelede vir die eerste keer van stapel gestuur het, het selfs meer mense as die vorige jaar die ‘Lang Tafel van Vrede’ ondersteun en gesellig saam verkeer.
