Sportdag ter ere van wyle Gert Boezak
Vanjaar se jaarlikse sportdag in Heidelberg wat die afgelope twee jaar nie kon plaasvind nie, is ter ere van ‘n Slangrivier-legende, wyle Gert Boezak gevier. Boezak was 'n bekende boukontrakteur en gemeenskapsaktivis, asook die pa van Gerald Boezak, wyksraadslid en lid van die burgermeersterskomitee, wat as gasspreker opgetree het.
