NATIONAL NEWS - Journalist Jacques Pauw and NB Publishers’ attorneys have warned the State Security Agency that they will seek a punitive costs order if the agency tries to stop the printing and publishing of the book, The President's Keepers.
The agency served a cease and desist order on the publishers last week, claiming that the book was replete with inaccuracies and contravened several laws.
The book has already entered its second print with fresh copies expected on shelves from Tuesday.
Willem de Klerk attorneys has told the State Security Agency that NB publishers will not stop making the book available or withdraw it from shelves.
They maintain that the information in the book is true and of undeniable public interest and that the publication thereof was justified and lawful.
