Pretoria North toddler feared drowned

NATIONAL NEWS - A two-year-old boy from Pretoria North is feared drowned after a fun-filled Mother’s Day at Hartbeespoort dam turned into tragedy on Sunday when a boat capsized.

Craig Lambinon, spokesperson for the National Sea and Rescue Institute (NSRI), said police divers were still combing the dam on Monday in a desperate attempt to find the child.

The child’s father and a friend were on a tube being towed by the boat when things went awry.
