HESSEQUA NEWS - A fire started on a mountain of a Cape Nature property. 

The fire was caused by lightning strike.

The fire did not spread significantly and self-extinguished in most parts during the night with slight drizzle.

Cape Nature has dispatched three ground crews to the affected area.

Garden Route District Municipality's (GRDM's) Fire Service is doing a reconnaissance and oversight at area.

Report fire related incidents to the Garden Route District Emergency Centre at 044 805 5071.
