SPORT NEWS - The third Klein-Karoo Dust 4 Glory obstacle course challenge will take place on the weekend of 22 October at Wilgewandel Holiday farm, hosted by Dust 4 Glory and Chain Gang Events.
Wilgewandel is the perfect location for the many spectators to encourage the athletes. It will be a weekend of fun and adventure for families, friends, corporate colleagues and scholars.
Just bring your running shoes and courageous energy and have a great time. Special rates are available for families, corporate groups and scholars.
There will be a discounted rate for the first 50 individuals in each category.
The past two events, which were held in 2019 and 2021, were characterised by a great atmosphere and excellent organisation while families, corporate groups and scholars competed in three different obstacle categories.
D4G Mini 1 - 2km with 10 obstacles.
This event is for children three to 13 years and non-timed, with fun obstacles. The children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
D4G Medium 5km with 10 obstacles and two water points.
This event is for 14 years and older. This shortest obstacle course is more fun, but still challenging, consisting of climbing, crawling, water and mud.
D4G Pro 10km - 12km with 22 obstacles. This event is for 19 years and older plus two water points.
This challenge is not for the faint-hearted. You will need motivation, strength and courage.
It consists of water, mud, carrying and dragging heavy objects for set distances.
This unique obstacle course challenge in the Little Karoo is easily accessible from all the major towns and cities.
The event venue is also close to all the major attractions such as the Cango Caves, Cango Wildlife Ranch, Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, ostrich show farms, Swartberg Pass and the Rust and Vrede waterfall.
