HEIDELBERG NUUS - Three of Heidelberg Kyousei karate athletes, Mac-Garth Booysen, Ancha and Aran Adams competed at the Karate Kyousei national children, cadets, junior and senior championships at Melkbosstrand High School.
Booysen performed very well in his first ever sports karate competition.
He won a gold medal in the kumite division.
Ancha Adams won gold medals in both the kata and kumite events in her division.
She displayed good form and precision against her competitors.
Aran also did very well in his rounds and won a gold medal in kumite in his division. The experience he has gained over the years is bearing fruit.
