NATIONAL NEWS - Race fans have the chance of winning up to R50 000 by being in the public village area of Kenilworth this Saturday to which entry is free.

The public village will provide a shaded area with benches and is situated within arm’s length of the race track. There will be plentiful live entertainment in this area and food vendors and bar facilities will provide refreshments and culinary delights to add to the summer holiday feel.

Patrons must still be on course and in the public village in order to qualify for the prize giveaways.

The anticipation of this big day is mounting by the hour because included on the card is the richest race ever staged in this country, the $1 million CTS Million Dollar.

At current exchange rates this means the winner will earn a cheque of over R8 million. Furthermore, The Grade 1 R1 million Investec Cape Derby and Grade 1 R1 million Klawervlei Majorca Stakes are two prestigious races which have been moved from J&B Met day on to the Investec Day Of Dreams card.
