Conditions were tough but I did see some brilliant golf.
It always fascinates me how many different methods are used for putting which range from various grips, body positions, ball positions and types of putters but there is one thing in common that all great putters do – they keep their heads still.
How do we keep our head still when putting? Well, the most simple and effective way is to keep your eye on a spot on the ball, it is very difficult to keep your head still if your eyes move around during the stroke. This sounds relatively easy but it is a discipline to master so that your head stays still without creating tension in your shoulders when trying to make a putt under pressure.
