NATIONAL NEWS - The offices of the Gauteng North Director of Public Prosecutions was burgled overnight.

The office is located on Church Square in Pretoria.

This burglary comes less than a week after intruders gained entry to the Hawks headquarters in Silverton.

Eyewitness News understands that burglars gained entry to two offices on the second floor of the DPP’s offices.

It is believed that the offices were accessed through windows which are located above the doors.

But it is unclear how the intruders managed to get inside the building, which has only two entrances, or what was stolen.
