HESSEQUA NEWS - The wildfire is contained and extinguished after mopping up operations by various stakeholders.
The mopping-up operations were contained throughout the day by Garden Route District Municipality's (GRDM's) firefighting crews, Hessequa Municipality Fire Services, and Working on Fire (WoF) Riversdale.
The GRDM Fire Services would like to extend a word of thanks to the volunteer firefighting support services of Albertinia, that assisted in the firefighting operations since the outbreak of the wildfire last night. The municipality values the contributions of each participant.
