RIVERSDALE NUUS - Riversdale Hospital proudly announced the appointment of Ndoisile Mphato as the new nursing manager who started on 1 July.
Mphato joins the facility with nearly two decades of experience in the nursing profession, having built a distinguished career across multiple healthcare settings, including hospital-based nursing, occupational health and senior management roles.
Before his appointment at Riversdale, Mphato served as nursing manager at Citrusdal Hospital and has also held key positions in the private sector, particularly in occupational health within large corporate environments.
"My career reflects a strong commitment to clinical governance, quality assurance, nursing leadership and improving patient care outcomes through strategic planning, people management, and policy implementation," said Mphato.
He described nursing as "a vocation rooted in service, compassion and advocacy".
Mphato emphasised his passion for supporting and empowering both patients and healthcare workers.
