HEIDELBERG NEWSFLASH - Ancha Adams and her brother, Aran of Heidelberg Karate Kyousei recently competed at the Eden Karate Federation national children, cadets and junior trials at the De Jagers Sports Centre in Oudtshoorn.
Karate athletes, affiliated to Eden karate competing to be selected into the Eden karate team that will take part in the Karate Association Western Cape trials next year.
The event was opened by the keynote address delivered by the president (ACT) of Eden Karate, Sensei Peter Adams.
In his note he emphasized that the reason for the gathering is the passion and love each one holds for the art of karate, and to the development of our youth.
Ancha won a silver medal in her kata event and gold in kumite.
Aran won a gold medal in his kumite event.
Both are once again selected for the Eden Karate Federation.
