Rhino poached near Mossel Bay
A seven year old male rhino bull from Nyaru Game Lodge in Brandwag near Mossel Bay, Sir Fabian was found dead and dehorned on the reserve this afternoon.
GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A seven year old male rhino bull from Nyaru Game Lodge in Brandwag near Mossel Bay, Sir Fabian, was found dead and dehorned on the reserve this afternoon.

Owner Ruan Fouché says the police are on the scene and the brutal act seems to have taken place during the course of the afternoon.

“We sold our other rhinos because of our fear of poachers and only kept Fabian," he explained.
"We are devastated. He has been with us for 6 years.”

Sir Fabian was in the news last year because of his strong bond with a Pug, Madam Gigi.
