GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Notice was received from George Municipality that the N2 Wilderness will be temporarily closed to address damage to overhead electricity cable near 7th Avenue.
Traffic will be diverted, please adhere to all diversions and drive carefully.
From George, turn left onto Hoekwil Road, past Waterside Road and right onto the dirt road drive behind Island Lake, right at Old Trading Post and keep going until the road reconnects to the N2 near Kleinkrantz. From Knysna, turn right onto the dirt road just before Kleinkrantz, turn left at Old Trading Post, drive behind Island Lake, left onto tar and keep driving until road rejoins N2. Road will close shortly and be closed for one to two hours.
