HESSEQUA NEWS - The department of Home Affairs has recently invited learners to apply for a smart ID card at the Home Affairs office in George during February.
According to a press release from Hessequa Municipality, they encourage learners to make use of the opportunity between 16:00 and 18:30 weekdays.
There is however no transport available from the municipality to George, as the Department of Local Government has not allocated any funds to Hessequa's Department of Social Development for this purpose.
The municipality does however fully support the campaign.
