Walvis-saamtrek op Gouritsmond
Bykans 600 mense op brullende motorfietse het na Gouritsmond opgeruk vir dié kus vakansiedorp se Walvis-saamtrek - 'n eerste vir dié dorp. Die Walvis-saamtrek is aanvanklik in Hartenbos aangebied, maar met die verskuiwing van die Buffulo-saamtrek, ook na Hartenbos, het die organiseerders, die Ulysses Garden Route-klub, besluit om dit te skei en na Gouritsmond te verskuif.
