RIVERSDALE NEWSFLASH - Enkanini residents in Kwanokuthula who were left destitute after a fire destroyed their homes two weeks ago, started to rebuilt their houses.
More than 20 informal structures were burnt down on Tuesday 27 March.
ANC Ward Councillor, Elias Dayimani said: “Living in shacks are already hard enough. These fires always come as a reminder that one must get out of here as this is no place to be settled in.”
Currently building materials are the prime need to get people into structures as soon as possible so that they can start rebuilding their lives.
