MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Students of the Estelle McIlrath Art School opened their annual exhibition on 5 December at the Dias Museum Complex in the Shell Museum.
In preparation for this year's exhibition, the students explored finger painting and ink drawing, acrylic painting, charcoal field drawings, wax painting, air-drying techniques, scraffita (scrap-board technique), self-portraits, pattern making and even working with needle and thread.
The students studied a great variety of subject material, both relevant and challenging, which they featured in their work that is on exhibition.
Viewing is from Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:45, and Saturday to Sunday, 09:00 - 15:45.
