ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Paris Hilton has donated enough money to build seven new homes in Mexico after the country was struck by an earthquake in September.
The 36-year-old businesswoman visited the borough of Xochimilco in Mexico City on Monday where she donated blankets, pillows, shoes, clothes, food and toys to the families who saw their homes destroyed when the devastating earthquake shook the country earlier this year.
Hilton also spoke with a gathered crowd of people to whom she sent her love and support in the wake of the natural disaster, before donating an unspecified sum of money which will reportedly see seven new homes built in the area to replace those destroyed in the quake.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Hilton said: “I feel that this is my second home, I’ve been coming to Mexico all my life. I love the people, I think they are all beautiful, they have great hearts, they are beautiful inside and out, they are very genuine and incredible.”
