With intensified restrictions looming, the City of Cape Town has again appealed to residents to cut their consumption.
Officials have urged residents to reduce consumption to 100 litres per day per person.

They have also implemented innovative water saving methods in the garden, like using custom made pot-plants to reduce water use.
The city is implementing several interventions, including reducing water pressure to a very low level across the province.
