Abian Riddles is Vrydagaand 30 September as die Sportman van die Jaar, tydens die Seagulls Rugbyklub se jaarlikse prysuitdelingsfunksie, gekroon. Elvis Kiewiets (voorsitter) het die span aangemoedig om op te staan en hul droom om in die finaal op Outeniquapark uit te draf, te verwesenlik. "Bou die pad vorentoe manne."
