Karnaval op Riversdal
Die jaarlikse karnaval van Voorwaarts Primêre skool het die afgelope naweek plaasgevind. Vrydag 19 Augustus het die trompoppies saam met Daantjie Kat deur die strate ‘n optog gehou om die karnaval af te skop. Saterdag 20 Augustus het dit voortgegaan by Riverville stadion. Ten spyte van die reën het jonk en oud opgedaag om die mallemeule te geniet, asook deur die stalletjies te loop. In die koue weer het die kosstalletjies baie goeie aftrek gekry.
