Blink skoentjies, spierwit sokkies, nuwe skoolklere en 'n te groot boeksak met 'n kosblik vol lekkernye. Dit is hoe meeste graad R en graad 1-leerders daar uitgesien het wat vir die eerste keer skool toe gaan. Sommige het die nuwe avontuur ewe dapper aangepak, terwyl ander ietwat tranerig van mamma afskeid geneem het. Babbels Die Wonder Nar (Anette Steyn ) het Protea Kleuterskool en Hoërskool Albertinia se graad R-klas besoek, waar sy die nuwe leerders aangemoedig het om hard te leer en mooi na die juffrou te luister.
