Die pluimvee-afdeling het vanjaar weereens met inskrywings van verskeie soorte hoenders, eende en selfs kalkoene gespog. Hierdie afdeling was seker die luidrugtigste met 'n onophoudelike gekekkel en -kwaak, maar ook van die interessantste met die groot aantal rasse wat ingeskryf het. Kleurvolle, gespikkelde en getofde vere was aan die orde van die dag.
