Die sandkasteelkompetisie Saterdag 31 Desember, aangebied deur Engen in samewerking met Algoa FM het wye belangstelling onder vakansiegangers gewek. 'n Groot verskeidenheid sandkastele het vorm aangeneem by Lappiesbaai-strand; van meerminne, 'n swemmende lewensredder, kastele met seemonsters tot vulkane en vele meer.
